Gentle Shepherd Ministries was established in 1989 when God merged the ministries of Rayola Kelley and Jeannette Haley together.

Goal of GSM

The Goal of Gentle Shepherd Ministries is to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to make disciples in compliance with the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19). This ministry also labors to equip the saints for the ministry of servanthood. As a mature and seasoned Bible teacher and speaker, Rayola imparts depth and substance to the hearer. She knows her subject well and has authored numerous books and Bible studies.

GSM Leaders

Rayola Kelley was born again and saved out of a cult in 1976 while serving in the U. S. Navy. She has been active in different areas of ministry such as Sunday school, evangelistic meetings, retreats, and jail ministry. She established a local fellowship where intense Bible Studies and discipleship training are conducted to equip believers for the ministry. 

Rayola has authored close to 30 books and numerous Bible Studies including an advanced Discipleship Course that his being used in countries such as Africa, Cuba and Pakistan. Among her many books is “HIDDEN MANNA” which deals with destructive cycles in people and relationships, and “BATTLE FOR THE SOUL” which presents a clear picture of the battle that rages in the soul. 

Rayola along with her co-laborer in the Gospel Jeannette Haley have appeared on Christian TV, as well as various radio programs. She also had her own radio program called “The Bottom Line.” She conducts different seminars (such as the “Hidden Manna Seminar”), and seminars that train Christians for leadership.

 Although versatile in her service to her Lord, she still maintains that the most important aspect of the Christian life is to sit at the feet of Jesus, and gain greater revelations of His infinite character and glorious redemption. She stresses this basic truth to those who sit under her teaching and discipling.

 

 Jeannette Haley is a talented and committed servant of God. She has been in service to her Lord for about 25 years in various capacities. She is a professional artist and prolific author, both talents she has used to the glory of her Lord.

 Jeannette is an evangelist at heart. Although she lost her voice 10 years ago to a condition known as Spasmodic Dysphonia, she continues to evangelize through tracts and the Internet. She displays her leadership, as well as her versatile talents as a pianist in the worship service. She oversees children’s Sunday school and writes the materials taught in the classes, always ensuring their Scriptural integrity.   

 Due to her talents, she has expressed her sincere heart towards God in various art forms including 14 murals for the Chapel of the Resurrection at Cedar Park Assembly of God Church in Bothell, Washington, as well as in various books and Bible Studies. Her sensitivity towards God has been revealed in her children’s books, and her fierce loyalty to His truth in her monthly articles and fiction Christian books. She continues to prove to be a seasoned and compassionate minister to those who seek her wisdom and guidance.

 

Krista Dinatale has been with Gentle Shepherd Ministries since 1996. She ministers to the Lord, as well as to His servants with her anointed singing. She is evangelistic and often works side by side with Rayola and Jeannette in ministering to others. As a vital part of the ministry, she is responsible to oversee various aspects of the ministry including administrative duties, worship and the ministry website.

 

Tom and Carol Richardson have been involved with Gentle Shepherd Ministries since 1997. These two individuals are not strangers to full-time ministry. They have been active in the ministry of helps for many years. Tom and Carol have lifted the burden of different ministers and ministries with their talents in the construction, renovation and maintenance of Christian camps and churches. As for Gentle Shepherd Ministries, they have been faithfully supporting and advising, as well as using their various abilities to lift burdens. Tom also adds his musical talents to minister to others on the worship team.

Don and Marietta McCollough have been involved with Gentle Shepherd Ministries since 2002. They serve as a vital part of the leadership and family of this ministry in different ways. Don serves as one of the deacons, as well as has a ministry of practical helps. He has a real concern towards those who are downtrodden and in cults. Marietta teaches the young children in Sunday school, as well as help to oversee the different evangelistic community outreaches. Their two children, Jared 14 and Katie 10 are also a big part of the ministry. They have been on the forefront of evangelistic outreaches, and have served as examples to the other young people. Jared serves as a greeter and helps with the sound system. He occasionally ministers with his saxophone. Katie assists her mother with the children, and has proven to be a helper in practical ways to the leadership.

 Carrie Seaney has lent her support and talents to Gentle Shepherd Ministries since 2003. Her talented abilities as an elementary teacher has also become a ministry. Along with Marietta McCollough, she teaches our young children. Carrie also occasionally ministers to others with her beautiful singing voice.

 

Jane Rodriguez has complimented Gentle Shepherd Ministries with her grace and quiet strength since 2003. She serves as a coordinator for Gentle Shepherd ministries in regard to the local ministry LOVE Inc. She and her husband, Jim, live in Nampa, Idaho. They have four children and five grandchildren.

 

Rich Ralston came to Gentle Shepherd Ministries in the spring of 2005. He is an evangelist at heart, and has been involved with Christian work for over two decades on both a local and international level. He started an international ministry and continues to oversee the financial needs of an orphanage in India. He has been involved with the Boise Rescue Mission as both a board member and a minister. In Gentle Shepherd Ministries, he oversees the men as far as equipping them for ministry. He has his own insurance business in Boise. He and his wife, June, have three grown children.

 

Maria Salgado Animas, along with her family, came to Gentle Shepherd Ministries in December of 2005. A mother of five children, she was born in Mexico in a family of 18 children. She has an incredible testimony of God’s intervention. She has been in the United States for over 20 years and is a U. S. citizen. In Gentle Shepherd Ministries, Maria serves as a both a translator and liaison to the Hispanic people. She and her husband, Javier, along with their children are committed to evangelism within the Hispanic community. Their daughter, Yolanda, also lends her love and talent for music and the flute to the worship team.
